The clean incineration technology improves the CO2 balance of waste recycling enormously. The electricity generated in the cogeneration process is then fed into the power grid. A by-product of this type of electricity generation is heat. The so-called waste heat can usually be used directly on site, for example to heat the fermenter of the biogas plant.
