Our guiding principle

MABEWO BLUE PLANET is committed to climate protection and provides electricity and heat
exclusively from renewable energy sources. The sustainably generated electricity is fed into
the public grid. As an investing company, MABEWO BLUE PLANET opens up new
markets and is often one of the first companies in the application of certain technologies. Countries, project locations and local partners are assessed and selected according to the criteria of sustainability, economic efficiency, safety and social responsibility.

What motivates us

Sustainability

MABEWO BLUE PLANET contributes to the compensation of regional network losses, shortens the distance between energy production and energy consumption and only uses renewable energy sources such as water, biogas, waste and the sun. Objectives are e.g. the comprehensive use of material flows, the avoidance / reduction of CO2 and CH4 emissions, and a contribution to the renaturation of landfill areas. The portfolio concept regarding technologies should enable a synergetic benefit if, for example, solar energy is also used in a biogas plant, because aggregates or storage areas for the biogas plant can be used in a solar dome too.

Profitability

The projects generate sales and earnings from feeding electricity into the public grid or from supplying electricity or thermal energy to local partners. Each project is judged on its ability to generate dividend income for the shareholders of MABEWO BLUE PLANET. The investment amount (CAPEX), the operating costs (OPEX), the tax situation (corporate taxes), the feed-in tariffs for electricity and heat and the protection against currency fluctuations must be taken into account. Only the assessment of the entire transfer of income from the project via a possible intermediate holding (in the case of indirect holdings) and the consideration of local / national taxes up to the MABEWO BLUE PLANET leads to a correct representation of the costs or the income. The profitability calculations take these factors into account.
The profitability assesment of a project/participation is always done from the point of view of the shareholders of MABEWO BLUE PLANET.

Security

Our highest priority is the protection of every investment and income. The national legislation in the countries we’re investing is therefore being examined regarding investment protection, currency policy and taxes. Investments are only made if there is sufficient knowledge and security when it comes to property rights, investment security and income security.

MABEWO BLUE PLANET and its founders have a long-standing track record in the field of international project development, especially in the field of energy production and waste management. In particular in the technology area «landfill degassing». Our team has extensive experience in project planning, project development and plant operation. We are now applying this experience in “new countries” where this technologies are not known and widespread yet.
