MABEWO AG unites companies that work on the development and operation of sustainable production processes. Resources such as land, soil, water and nutrients must be conserved and used effectively. The key is to combine indoor farming and local supply with renewable energies.

That is why MABEWO as a holding company, invests in sustainable production processes. In terms of the wide range of application areas, we focus on three market segments:

Indoor-Farming Solutions

With its participation in «MABEWO GREENTOCUBE», the MABEWO group is developing and planning the core technology for indoor farming solutions. The MG3 Team, consisting of hardware and software engineers, plant growers and mechatronic engineers, is developing a new type of indoor farming system, focussing on automation and process control and the interface between technology and plants.

Systems for the production of vegetables, mushrooms and herbs are operated under the brand «Food & Energy Campus». The products are sold in the region. In the so-called green domes we combine solar energy and indoor farming. The modules inside the dome ensure ideal growth conditions for plants, while the solar panels on the roof deliver additional electricity.

Pharma Solutions

It is of the highest priority for the pharmaceutical industry, that raw materials are available reliably and in consistent quality. «MABEWO PHYTOPHARM» builds and operates solar-powered systems for the production of pharmaceutically active plants, such as cannabis. Great emphasis is placed on comprehensive quality management and precise process management in order to guarantee quality.

Clean Energy Solutions

We take our responsibility seriously and actively contribute to the energy transition. The production and feed-in of regeneratively generated energy is crucial here. In cooperation with our project companies, «MABEWO BLUE PLANET» operates solar domes, landfill degassing, biogas plants and small hydropower plants.

MABEWO AG supports its subsidiaries when it comes to strategy, business development, administrative issues and invests actively in the future of their operations. As a result, synergies are used efficiently and specifically where they are needed.
